Dr. Hinds
A graduate of Mississippi State University’s Class of 2007, Dr. Hinds knows the importance of keeping pets healthy and happy. He’s passionate about catching issues early and providing skilled surgical care when needed.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hinds enjoys spending time with his wife and their four kids, working in his church’s music program, and raising livestock and dogs on his small farm. He’s a dedicated family man who values hard work and understands the rural lifestyle that so many of our clients live by.
Dr. Fay
Deborah Hinds
Practice Manager
Deborah recently joined the Callaway Vet Clinic team as Practice Manager, bringing extensive experience in financial services, including bank management and investments. She enjoys supporting both the clinic team and the families we serve while helping ensure the practice runs smoothly. Outside of work, Deborah enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Hinds, and their four children, playing piano for her church and for the adult choir.
Emma
Emma has been working in the veterinary field for more than three years and is passionate about providing exceptional care to every patient she meets. She takes pride in making sure each patient receives thorough, accurate, and compassionate care while supporting the veterinary team every step of the way. Emma’s love for animals and dedication to doing things the right way helps ensure every pet receives the highest standard of care at Callaway Vet Clinic.
Miranda
Veterinary Assistant
Miranda has been working in veterinary medicine since 2022. Graduated from William Woods with a degree in Biology with a Pre-Veterinary concentration and an Equine Science minor. She is now pursuing an MBA at William Woods. She believes compassionate, efficient care and kindness make all the difference for both patients and their families. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping animals feel better and watching owners leave with peace of mind. When she’s not at the clinic, Miranda enjoys riding and showing horses in Western and ranch events. She also stays busy caring for her foal, one cat, and four dogs.
Rebecca
Rebecca brings more than 10 years of veterinary experience to Callaway Vet Clinic, with much of her background focused on equine and large animal medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree from William Woods University and is currently pursuing a MS degree while also holding certification as an Equine Qualified Technician. Rebecca is dedicated to making every veterinary visit a positive experience for both pets and their owners. She especially enjoys assisting in surgery, working alongside the doctors, and ensuring every patient receives outstanding care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys riding horses, cheering on LSU sports, reading, spending time with family, and caring for her five horses and three dogs.
Marissa
Marissa joined the Callaway Vet Clinic six months ago and is currently attending college to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and loves seeing pets recover and thrive. At home, she’s kept entertained by her black cat, Celeste, who she describes as wonderfully needy and full of opinions.
Donna
Donna Sue has been serving clients at Callaway Vet Clinic for the past eight months and is often one of the first friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors. She believes every client deserves exceptional service and strives to give her best each day so every visit is a positive experience. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine? Petting all the dogs! Outside of work, Donna Sue enjoys spending time with her Great Dane/Labrador mix, River.
Ron
Ron Wright has been a professional pet groomer for more than 34 years and joined the Callaway Vet Clinic team after moving to Callaway County in 2015. Growing up in a family that bred and showed dogs, Ron developed a lifelong passion for canine care and grooming from an early age.
Ron lives in the country with his wife, four dogs, and four cats. Outside of work, he enjoys collecting firearms, participating in shooting and reloading sports, hunting, and fishing. His decades of experience, gentle approach, and dedication to helping pets look and feel their best make him a valued member of the Callaway Vet Clinic team.
Jenzy
Jenzy is a kennel attendant at Callaway Vet Clinic and is excited to begin her career in the veterinary field. She is currently a student at Jefferson City High School and has always loved being around animals.
When she’s not at school or caring for pets at the clinic, Jenzy enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends. She also loves spending time with her dog, Sheamus, who is an important part of her family. Jenzy’s enthusiasm, compassion, and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful addition to the Callaway Vet Clinic team.
